Why Need Sustainability?

Sustainability is crucial for the long-term health of the global economy and is central to Index Global’s mandate to preserve and enhance the international purchasing power of the reserves under our management. We believe that companies with robust sustainability practices are likely to deliver better long-term returns. This relationship is expected to strengthen as market externalities are priced in and as regulators, businesses, and consumers increasingly factor sustainability into their decisions.

We adopt a holistic, long-term approach to sustainability across our investment and corporate processes. While investments may involve trade-offs between various sustainability objectives, particularly in the short term, we integrate sustainability with an understanding of the diverse industries and markets we operate in, and the time required for companies to transition.

Index Global is dedicated to supporting the global shift towards a net-zero economy through our investments and operations.
